Identify the affected appliance
Give the RV year and model, then the appliance make and model where safely visible. Different units can be fitted to the same RV model. Mention whether the issue affects one appliance or several.
Describe the behavior
Explain what happens during normal use: a unit does not start, stops running, or behaves differently than before. Include when the symptom began and any recent service. Do not open the appliance or electrical components to complete the request.
Confirm visit and parts terms
Ask about the diagnostic fee, whether the equipment class is accepted, and how parts and additional work are authorized. A mobile visit may establish what is needed without completing the repair on that visit.
Include in your request
- RV and appliance make/model
- Observed symptom and when it started
- Park and site number
- Service dates and planned departure
The receiving technician confirms accepted equipment, coverage, and appointment timing.
